HP Officejet 150 Review
HP Officejet 150 is another HP’s mobile printer that you may want to buy if you need a mobile printer for your business trip. This mobile printer is multifunctional that can print, copy, and scan. Physically, this model is very identical to its predecessor, HP Officejet 100. Of course, there are some differences that you can find when compared to its older brother including the touchscreen display. Well, there are several interesting aspects that we need to discuss about this all-in-one mobile printer.
Design and Features of HP Officejet 150
As stated before, HP Officejet 150 looks very identical to HP Officejet 100. This model measures 13.8 x 6.7 x 3.5 inches (WDH) and weighs 6.39 lbs. With the dimension and weight, this printer is a little bigger and heavier than the big brother. Another different aspect is the display. This mobile printer is equipped with a 2.36-inch touchscreen display when you open the top panel. This is also how to create the input paper tray that leans almost vertically on the rear top of the machine. The paper tray itself can hold up to 50 sheets of paper which is common for a mobile printer. In front of the control panel, the scanner feeder is there with a slider that allows you to adjust the size of the document that you need to copy or scan.
The connection can be made through USB or Bluetooth. It means, just like the predecessor, there is no mobile printing capability that you can enjoy from this model, even though it is normal for a mobile printer. Thankfully, you can still print from and scan to memory card, print from and scan to USB flash drive, and for sure use Bluetooth when you need to connect it to your mobile devices.
Regarding the speed, well we need to say that you should not expect too much on it especially due to the fact this is a mobile printer even though the manufacturer claims that it can run up to 22 ppm in mono and 18 ppm in color. For the copying speed, HP Officejet 150 is claimed to be able to copy up to 4 ppm in black and 2 ppm in color.
The good news, this all-in-one mobile printer is capable of printing high-quality outputs both in black and color. It means that you do not need to worry about the quality even though you have to print on the go. In addition, this is also a good one for photo printing.
About the battery life, HP claims that the lithium-ion battery can last up to printing 500 pages when freshly and fully charged. However, you may find that the battery life is lower than the claim.
HP Officejet 150 is another option that you may need to keep in your hunting list for your travel companion. Compared to Officejet 100, this model clearly offers more features. However, you may also need to reconsider it when you concern about the budget. Overall, this all-in-one mobile printer is worthy.
